As an experiment, I’m planning on doing a regular post on Fridays that will include highlights from the stuff that I’ve been twittering during the week. If you’d like to follow me on Twitter you can do so at: http://twitter.com/rsmartx. Alternatively, you can subsribe as an rss feed by clicking the above banner.

  • Laugh at Marketing with the “make my logo bigger cream”
  • If you’re a fan of BBQ and bacon you’ll enjoy this.
  • Slydial – a very cool phone app that allows you do go direct to voice mail. That’s right, I don’t want to talk to you … I’d rather leave a message.
  • Jump London – a cool film you can watch online about “city running’ or Parkour.
  • Career Builder Ad – a funny ad about how to know if you need a new job.
  • The History of Marketing – a great short animated summary of the history of marketing.
  • Auditorium – a really fun online game that uses sound and physics in an interesting way.
  • Plinky – a start up by my friend and former colleague Ryan Freitas. Ever been at a loss for something to blog about? Plinky can help.

  1. Dear Dr. Smart,

I would like to personally endorse Love Drug. Before I tried Love Drug I was sad, unhappy, AND depressed. I had no love in my life, except for my Canadian Hairless Sphynx, “Miss Beautiful Princess.” But her love is not the kind that keeps you warm at night, even if she did have hair.

So I sat down one night and said, “Dori Minnow. If you want your prince to arrive you are going to have to leave your tastefully decorated country-modern double wide and find him yourself.” That’s when I saw your ad for Love Drug in the back of Bobble Bee Magazine.

I must admit I was skeptical. I was not born yesterday! But unlike Miss Beautiful Princess, I only have one life, not nine (haha! a little cat humor for you)

Well, I am happy to report that after taking Love Drug for seven straight months, along with having my teeth “corrected” and spending more time at Mutt’s Good Eatz in inappropriately tight shirts, I met my current flame, Jimmy Crackle. He is the love of my life and I don’t even care that he always smells like Ajax. Love is blind for you eyes and your nose!

    Sincerely,
    Dori Minnow
